Our Activities

Our activities give families, pupils, teachers and school staff the chance to learn and have fun together and help to raise much needed funds. They include:

Showcase after parties – When the children have finished their showcase we lay on juice, crisps and goodies for them and a welcome cuppa and cake for their families. This is a great way for pupils, families and teachers to mingle and chat. Every month it is the turn of a different class.

Celebrating the sacraments and milestones – When pupils make their First Holy Communion and are Confirmed we help them celebrate by providing a cake, a small gift and a party. When the P7s are getting ready to move on we organise a disco for them and buy their High School tie. Last year’s event featured personalised cupcakes, chocolate and juice fountains and a fun selfie station.

Spring Fayre/Daffodil Tea – Last March we worked with the school on a Spring Fayre to raise funds for local charities. There were stalls, refreshments, raffles and kids’ activities all culminating in an Easter Bonnet Parade.

Supporting school events –  We are always happy to help the school with anything they need in preparation for the summer show and nativity. We run a raffle at the shows to raise school funds.

Summer Fun Day – In June 2017 to get everyone in the holiday mood, we ran a free, non-uniform fun day for all pupils. It was so popular that it ran again in 2018. We brought bouncy castles, a magician, petting zoo, climbing wall and much more into the school. There was popcorn, ice cream and sweets and a chance to get a glitter tattoo or your face painted.

Halloween Disco – A firm favourite with the children. We decorate the hall, organise games, run a tuck shop and give prizes for best costumes.

Christmas Fayre – 2016 was the first time we ran a Christmas Fayre. Modelled on the Spring fayre but bigger and better, it gave children a chance to win prizes, play games and meet Santa. The money raised paid for them to see a pantomime.
